2008 Election

I don't know about you, but I haven't given much thought to the 2008 Presidential Election, other than to be thankful that I no longer live in Iowa, where the election insanity is already in full swing.
Even so, I thought you all might find this survey interesting. (HT: Ruth*)

Minnesota Public Radio has a site where you can go to choose your viewpoints on several issues, and then they show you how you match up with the various candidates.

If you want to see the current support for the candidates that you best match up with, check out this CNN website.

It seemed unfortunate to me that the candidate that I apparently match up with the best is one of the ones that I personally find repulsive. Ah well. We shall see.

Blog of the Week

*New Feature* - the Blog of the Week. Each week I will highlight a blog that I either read frequently or that I have found or run across recently.

This week's blog is The American Chef. This is the blog of Walter Scheib, former White House Chef. He was also one of the chef's of note at the recent Food and Wine Celebration. Check it out!

Faith and Toys

From Sigmund, Carl, and Alfred:

Faith and Toys (See the complete list here.)
Atheism
There is no toy maker.
Polytheism
There are many toy makers.
Evolutionism
The toys made themselves.
Capitalism
He who dies with the most toys, wins.
Communism
Everyone gets the same number of toys, and whoever is caught selling his toys will go straight to hell.

Welcome!

Congratulations! You've successfully made your way to my "new" blog. It's really just a revamped version of Crzyfleurgrl from CrazyLife, but with more cool features. Check out the pictures in the previous post, as well as the weekly poll on the sidebar. Soon coming will be a list of fun, interesting, and thought-provoking links, also in the sidebar.

Normal features of CrazyLife (in other words, the Sunday Sandwich) will also be here in due time. This week's sandwich is still on CrazyLife, because I just couldn't let the first post here be those sandwiches.
